Viscose is a semi-synthetic material consisting of regenerated cellulosic fibers, which can be obtained from various natural sources such as wood and other plant-based materials. Although these cellulosic fibers could be sourced in a sustainable way using certified organic raw materials, there have been many reports concerning the problems of major pollution related to the production of viscose.
